Our Childcare Center

Playgrounds

• Our playground equipment is safe, sturdy, and secure.
• We have safe fall zones, with soft landing areas, just in case your child should take a tumble.
• All outside play areas are wrapped in secure fencing.

Transportation

• Annual safety inspections are performed on our vans.
• All of our van drivers are CPR certified.
• High back booster seats, provided by the parent/guardian, are required for children under the age of 8.

Security

• Our center is fully equipped with video surveillance, in every room
• We have smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems in our facility.
• We utilize safety gates and cap electrical outlets throughout the center.
• Heaters are covered to prevent your child from touching something hot.
• Safe, secure perimeters ensure that children can enjoy outdoor play safely.

Emergencies

• We are serious about training for tornadoes, fires, and lockdown situations.
• We have an emergency evacuation plan in every room.
• We don't just have a plan, we regularly test and train so our people are ready.

Wellness

• We assess every child's health by openly communicating with parents and monitoring for symptoms, throughout the course of each child's day with us. We increase assessment during flu season.
• In order to help prevent illness from spreading, we notify parents when a child is not feeling well.

Medications

• We have strict policies for administering medication to your child, to ensure they are protected.
• Medications are stored securely out of the reach of children.
• A doctors note IS REQUIRED to administer any prescription medications to your child.
• Medication forms must be completed and signed by parents.

Sanitation

• Our center is cleaned each day with safe non-toxic cleaners.
• All cleaning supplies are stored safely out of reach of the children.
• While other child care providers clean toys each evening, we sanitize toys throughout the day to help prevent the spread of germs.
• We encourage the children to wash their hands throughout the day, by singing songs and teaching lessons about health and hygiene.
• We follow the strictest guidelines with diapering procedures.

Food Handeling & Meals

• All perishable food is properly refrigerated.
• Our "menu" consists of the healthiest of foods including: 100% whole grain or whole wheat products, lean ground turkey instead of beef, fresh fruits and vegetables; as well as, canned fruits without any added sugar and brown rice instead of white rice.
• No pre-breaded items or processed foods are served at our facility.
• We welcome breast feeding Mothers.

Qualifications

• We are staffed with a dedicated team of friendly caregivers who are trained in child development, early-childhood education, or a related field.
• We conduct criminal background checks, to ensure trustworthy staff and passionate teachers provide the best care and education for your child.
• Our staff and teachers are trained in first aid, CPR, and fire safety.
